This is not a Tour! 300km Brevet Populaire
This should be fun! A 314km multi-surface self sufficient Audax starting from Llandrindod Wells. over 48 hours. There will be no route arrows, no AUK feed stations, no AUK staffed controls, no bag drops, no roaming mechanic, no sag wagon and no on-route cafe/shop information. There will be an event HQ, gpx tracks and the information provided on this website, but once you leave HQ, you’re on your own folks. These rides will demand commitment to make the time allowances. Remember, this is not a tour! And whilst they are not races, we encourage spirited riding. However, don’t enter the longer events thinking you will be able to just ‘knock them out’ on your light weight race bike, you won’t! And that’s not a challenge. http://tinat.cymru/saturday-rides/300km-bp/ Let me know if you are interested and I'll co-ordinate. Best regards Mark James Fast rolling 700x40c or 650x48c tyres would be perfect. Could be ridden on narrower tyres if you’re careful. Below 28c not advised. But that’s your call. For those that have done the Dragon Devil, the first climb of the day is the infamous Devil’s Staircase which will be made more interesting on a gravel bike!
